The Opportunity
The Global Fund GC 7 grant provides a three years funding for Community-Based Interventions (CDI) to fight against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria through an integrated approach.
Plan International Cameroon will provide capacity development services to Civil Society Organization's (CSO's) to follow up Community Health Workers (CHW) activities at community level. Project Unit at regional level will coordinate the implementation of the project and provide general guidance of Global Fund rules and procedures to all DCSO's participating in the implementation of the project. Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Chief of Party (CoP), the Regional Field supervisor (RFS) will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely implementation of activities regarding the national malaria response. The RFS is technically under the guidance of the CoP and administratively under the ERM. He / She works in collaboration with DCSOs, and other stakeholders, in the implementation of all Global Fund GC 7 sub project activities in the assigned region.
The Regional Field supervisor (RFS) is responsible:
To assist the CoP in planning, designing, implementation and evaluating GC 7 project activities within the assigned region, eS5T7C4 CzK2wR
To assist the CoP in the assigned region to ensure the achievement of project objectives and indicators that are aligned with Global Fund GC 7 malaria proposal goals for Cameroon.
To ensure the participation to all meetings related to the project within the region.
To ensure CDI data collected are entered in the DHIS2 or in others project data collection tools.
As Regional Field supervisor (RFS) you will be responsible for program quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation, management and administration of all aspects of the project in your region, representation, advocacy and coordination at regional level.
The Individual
We are looking for someone with a degree in social sciences/public health combined with relevant experience. As a Regional Field Supervisor, you will have strong experience in health project design, coordination/management and implementation, strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, and team and office management. As a Regional Field Supervisor, you should have proven experience in building and maintaining institutional linkages, participatory methods and partnerships, and experience working within the malaria community in Cameroon and in community development is highly desirable.
